Illustrative flow · Each manufacturer models its catalogue differently.
Every specification changes the product.
Fastener catalogues combine thousands of variants. The commercial challenge is consistent selection and pricing, not automatic standards certification.

Packaging and quantity
Pack sizes, MOQs and quantity bands tied to commercial pricing.
Keep sales within your approved product catalogue.
Mercura applies allowed dimensions, valid combinations and coating restrictions you define. It does not certify EN/ISO/DIN compliance or assess hydrogen embrittlement on its own.

- Non-catalogue parts may require engineering review.
Pricing that reflects how fasteners are sold.
When your tariff includes quantity breaks, minimum order quantities, material surcharges or account-specific lists, Mercura can apply them on the configured quote, using rules you maintain.

What Mercura does not decide about fasteners
Configuration checks are not universal standards certification.
-
Not metallurgical lab
Mercura does not independently certify hydrogen embrittlement or salt-spray performance.
-
Not drawing interpretation
It does not read DXF or estimate cold-heading from geometry unless you model that workflow.
-
Can enforce your rules
Blocked material-finish pairs, MOQs and surcharges follow rules you maintain.
From product selection to a consistent quotation.
- 01 Select fastener family.
- 02 Enter product requirements.
- 03 Apply configured catalogue rules.
- 04 Enter quantities.
- 05 Calculate applicable commercial pricing.
- 06 Prepare quotation documents.
Thousands of combinations, one controlled quoting process

Questions from fastener manufacturers
Can Mercura configure fasteners with many dimensional and material variants?
Yes, when you model families with parametric dimensions, materials, finishes and packaging options in the product catalogue Mercura uses for quoting.
Can pricing depend on order quantities and customer-specific price lists?
Yes. Mercura's pricing engine supports quantity breaks, minimum order quantities and account-specific pricing when you configure those rules and lists.
How are material and coating restrictions handled?
You define which finishes apply to which materials and variants. Mercura applies those restrictions during configuration. It does not infer chemistry or standards compliance on its own.
Can Mercura manage minimum order quantities and packaging rules?
Yes, when MOQs, pack sizes and related constraints are part of the product and pricing model you publish.
Can standard and non-standard fasteners be handled differently?
Yes. Catalogue variants can follow a guided sales flow while engineer-to-order or drawing-based items can require review or a separate process you define.
Can Mercura integrate with our ERP or CRM?
Mercura supports integrations with ERP, CRM and other systems depending on your implementation. Configured product data and quotes can flow downstream after acceptance.
