What Mercura does not replace for cabinet manufacturers

Commercial configuration is not automatic factory CAM.

  • Not a kitchen planner

Mercura does not replace dedicated kitchen design software unless you integrate it.

  • Not native CNC output

It does not automatically generate cutting lists or CNC programs unless you model and integrate that output.

  • Can enforce your rules

Compatible finishes, required hardware and dimension limits follow rules you maintain.

From module selection to a consistent quotation.

  1. 01 Select cabinet module family.
  2. 02 Enter opening or module dimensions.
  3. 03 Choose allowed door styles and finishes.
  4. 04 Add required hardware and accessories.
  5. 05 Apply configured commercial pricing.
  6. 06 Prepare quotation documents.

One kitchen quote, one controlled catalogue

Spreadsheet catalogue

  • Custom depth noted in email, not in the price.
  • Finish offered on a door style that does not support it.
  • Module shipped without the hinge or slide the installer expects.
  • Multi-room jobs copied by hand with mixed finishes.

With Mercura CPQ

  • Out-of-range sizes blocked or routed for review.
  • Finishes only appear when compatible with that door.
  • Required hardware added with the module.
  • Rooms share one catalogue and roll up to one quote.

Bring consistency to modular kitchen sales.

  • Selections aligned with the approved catalogue.
  • Fewer incompatible finish and door combinations.
  • Required hardware visible before the offer is sent.
  • More structured multi-room quotes.
  • Less manual checking of routine rules.
  • Clearer hand-off of configuration to operations.

Questions from kitchen cabinet manufacturers

Can Mercura configure cabinets with different dimensions and finishes?

Yes, when you model modular families with parametric dimensions, door styles, finishes and accessories in the product catalogue Mercura uses for quoting.

Can manufacturers define compatible hardware and accessories?

Yes. You define which hinges, drawer systems, handles and interior items apply to each module. Mercura applies those dependencies during configuration.

Can pricing reflect selected options?

Yes. Option prices, surcharges and commercial rules you configure can flow into the structured quote for the accepted configuration.

Does Mercura generate CNC files or cutting lists?

Not by default. Mercura is CPQ software for commercial configuration and quoting. Manufacturing BOM or CAM output depends on integrations or implementations you define.

Can Mercura integrate with ERP or manufacturing systems?

Mercura supports integrations with ERP, CRM and other systems depending on your implementation. Configured product data and quotes can flow downstream after acceptance.
