CPQ for industrial mixer manufacturers
Configure complex mixing equipment. Quote with confidence.
Bring vessel options, impellers, drive units, seals and pricing rules into one guided configuration process. Help your sales team prepare consistent quotations using the product rules your engineers define.

Running against a live Mercura tenant. Impellers, motors, and prices shown here are an illustrative "Industrial Mixing Example" catalogue built to demonstrate the platform — your own viscosity tables, impeller matrix, and seal options would drive a production deployment.
One mixer. Many connected choices.
Industrial agitators combine vessel, impeller, drive, shaft, mechanical seal and accessories in a single commercial offer.
-
01
Application and vessel
Working volume, vessel geometry and process objective frame what can be quoted.
-
02
Agitator assembly
Impeller class, shaft length and mounting options from your product model.
-
03
Drive, shaft and seal
Motor, gearbox, shaft and mechanical seal matrices you maintain.
-
04
Commercial package
Accessories, instrumentation and services tied to the configuration.
Put your approved product rules into the sales process.
Mercura applies variants, incompatibilities and dependencies you model. It does not replace mechanical review or certify mixing performance.
- Impeller
- Allowed classes from your application and viscosity matrix.
- Mechanical seal
- Options compatible with the selected configuration.
- Motor / shaft
- Combinations your catalogue marks as valid or for review.
What Mercura is not for mixing equipment
Worth stating alongside configurable agitator quoting.
-
Not CFD or process simulation
Mercura does not run fluid mechanics models or guarantee mixing intensity.
-
Not default shaft design sign-off
Critical speed, stress and weld review stay with your engineering team unless you model checks explicitly.
-
Can apply your rules
Selection bands, geometry checks and pricing can follow formulas and integrations you implement.
From application requirements to a structured quotation.
- 01 Select the mixer or agitator family.
- 02 Capture application and vessel requirements.
- 03 Configure approved options.
- 04 Apply dependencies between components.
- 05 Calculate configured commercial pricing.
- 06 Generate quotation documents.
The same technical sale, a different commercial path
Spreadsheet quotes
- Process brief lives in email, not in the quote structure.
- Impeller class chosen from memory, not from the catalogue.
- Motor and seal checked after the customer compared a base price.
- Geometry conflicts surface only when engineering reviews the layout.
With Mercura CPQ
- Application and vessel captured in a guided configuration flow.
- Impeller and seal options filtered by rules you publish.
- Motor and shaft combinations flagged before the offer is sent.
- Dependencies and pricing update with the configuration.
Reduce repetitive quoting work without losing technical control.
- More consistent sales configurations across the team.
- Controlled variants aligned with the approved catalogue.
- Less manual checking of routine options.
- Structured pricing from rules you maintain.
- Faster preparation of standard quotations where the catalogue supports it.
- Clearer handover of configuration detail to operations.

Questions from mixing equipment manufacturers
Can Mercura configure different mixer and agitator families?
Yes, when you model separate families with their own options, dependencies and pricing in the product catalogue Mercura uses for quoting.
How are compatible motors, shafts, seals and impellers handled?
Through compatibility and dependency rules you define. Incompatible combinations can be blocked or routed to an approved review path.
Can manufacturers include application requirements in the configuration process?
Yes. Process objective, fluid properties, vessel data and other application fields can be part of the configuration when your product model includes them.
Does Mercura automatically validate mixing performance or mechanical shaft design?
No. Mercura is CPQ software. It can apply manufacturer-defined rules, ranges and formulas you implement. It does not universally certify mixing performance, CFD results or mechanical shaft design.
Can pricing and quotation documents reflect the selected equipment?
Yes. Configured options and commercial pricing rules can drive quotation output aligned with the accepted configuration.
Can Mercura integrate with ERP or CRM systems?
Mercura supports integrations with ERP, CRM and other systems depending on your implementation. Configured product data can flow downstream after the commercial configuration is accepted.
