A manufacturer of laser markers and inkjet coding lines finishes a configuration for a food plant upgrade. Line items, options, and pricing match what engineering validated. The rep exports through Word, prints to PDF, and sends the file. When a quote is ready, the user generates PDF in Mercura with one action. The server applies the selected template, merges line items, specifications, pricing, and terms from quote data, and returns a finished PDF. No Word export, no print-to-PDF step, no rep-side font substitution. Template pages govern structure; automated generation creates the underlying quote; this capability is the render step. Someone must maintain template layout rules and test PDF output after template changes.
